6. Wine
As tempting as it is to keep your unopened wine bottles in the garage, this idea isn’t actually good. Humidity and temperature swings in a garage can alter the taste and composition of wine. And yes, even sealed bottles can be affected and don’t do well with temperature fluctuations.
The wine will oxidize and develop an unpleasant flavor. Hot garage temperatures can also cause the wine to overferment. For these reasons, you are better off storing your favorite whites and reds in a sealed indoor cooler.
