If by some chance, you decide to buy a Christmas Tree from out of town or another state (although I might wonder why you would do such a thing), you can keep the trunk of the tree in water or store it in a cool and shaded area, like an unheated garage. But even so, if you want your tree fresh, don’t leave it too long without water.
