Don’t let pets or kids around the tree unsupervised

We don’t want to sound too overbearing or anything, but there are some things that are best to keep an eye on. Although a Christmas Tree is the symbol of Christmas and it’s the second most beloved Christmas tradition for children (Santa’s first, obviously), the little ones or your pets might be tempted to eat the needles, or even worse: to pull the tree down.

Even though tree needles aren’t generally toxic for animals or humans, they’re also not easily digested and can cause stomach irritation and vomiting.

Don’t vacuum tree needles

Also, you want to make sure you don’t vacuum the tree’s needles because they can rapidly clog standard vacuum cleaners.
