1. Use the right cooking utensils
Before going any further, you must keep in mind that using the right cooking utensils is pretty important, especially if you’re using a nonstick skillet to cook your meals. It’s true that today’s pans are long-lasting compared to older ones, but that doesn’t mean you have to use the wrong utensils when cooking. Never use a knife to cut food in a nonstick pan, and take care not to stab or accidentally scrape the surface with any sharp objects.
Additionally, using metal utensils with nonstick skillets is not recommended. The best spoons to use are those made of wood or silicone because they are non-abrasive and safe to use.
