#6 The tub
If you think the best way to get rid of the gunk in your sink or the residue that gathers on the side of the shower or bathtub is a paper towel, we’re afraid to tell you that you are mistaken. Not only will it not fix the problem unless it’s still wet, but part of the residue will also remain in the spot and dry, which will just lead to it accumulating over time.
You should make use of a good old trick that is tried and true among all housekeepers: mix vinegar with Dawn soap and apply it to the surface, then use a dry cloth to wipe. It’s going to do wonders, and you can reuse the cloth after you wash it! For harder-to-get water stains and grime, you may need a professional cleaning substance, and even after that, you shouldn’t use paper towels to dry the surface.
