We know, we know! We literally just recommended you buy an air purifier instead of using harmful air fresheners, and although they are not 100% effective in preventing pollutants entirely, the type of air purifier you buy can make a huge difference. Why? Because some air filtration systems can actually make the air in your room worse not better!
When buying an air purifier there are two things you need to look out for. Avoid buying one that generates ozone, as indoors, ozone can be very harmful for your health. The other thing to look out for is if the model you are looking at contains a HEPA filter, then that should be the one for you.
