8. Shoo away summer insects
During the summer, it’s impossible not to get stuck with a fly in your house because they’re everywhere. Patiently waiting for some food around the kitchen table. And they’re so annoying! Let’s not forget about other insects like spiders or ants, which are also very sensitive to smell, and somehow a house full of goodies is like a magnet for them. But guess what? They simply despise the lemon scent.
The most efficient way to take advantage of the lemon’s power is to squirt some lemon juice or simply leave some strips of lemon peel close to your windows, baseboards, and door thresholds to prevent the insects from entering your house.
