9. Your Remote Control
You vacuum the rugs, dust your shelves, and clean your kitchen countertop—but do you ever pay attention to your remote control? Just think about how much you use and how rarely you disinfect it. Well, you should change that, as your remote control is one of the dirtiest items in your house.
In fact, it may surprise you to learn that this often-used thing can be grosser than a toilet seat. So, grab some Clorox wipes, ASAP!
10. Stove Knobs
Just think about how many times you’ve touched those knobs on the stove while cooking. Turning on, then turning off, maybe doing that again. And that’s only in a day. But how many times have you paid special attention to them while scrubbing the rest of the stove? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one.
While not a spot that many of us would think about, stove knobs are the ninth dirtiest place for bacteria to hide in our houses. This being said, make sure to remove the knobs and wash them in hot, soapy water as often as possible.
