8. Ketchup
People who keep their bottles of ketchup in the pantry have probably never gotten sick from doing so. They may also argue that restaurants leave communal ketchup bottles on tables for hours.

Even Heinz’s FAQ section says the following: “Because of its natural acidity, our ketchup is shelf-stable. However, its stability can be affected once you open the bottle. We recommend this you refrigerate after opening.”
