5. Tortillas
Most people will stash packs of tortillas straight into the pantry after purchasing them, but save them a place in your fridge and they will stay fresh longer. The thing that happens to tortillas when stored in the pantry is that they go moldy quite quickly.
Whether you prefer corn or flour ones, they will stay safe to eat longer if kept at a regulated cold temperature, especially after you open the package. When stored in the fridge, flour tortillas can last up to four weeks; corn tortillas for up to eight weeks; and homemade ones will be good for seven days. Remember this next time you eat tacos.
