Plastic utensils
You have all those plastic utensils piled up in one of your kitchen’s drawers either because you recently had thrown a wild party, or you’re just a big take-out fan. Either way, you should throw them.

Open bottles
Except for wines, alcohol doesn’t stay good forever. If you have a few alcohol bottles that are waiting on your shelf, remember: hard liquor has a longer shelf life of about two years, before it evaporates. Red wines should be drank within two weeks of opening.

If you use condiments, try stocking up some of your favorites in tiny bottles. But don’t keep every condiment you’ll ever receive from a restaurant take-out!
