1. Sweaters
The dryer should not be used on some materials because the heat will cause the fibers to shrink and weaken. This is the case with wool sweaters, which can lose their shape if washed or dried incorrectly. Both synthetic and human-made fibers may stretch and pill more in the heat. It is technically impossible to restore a synthetic sweater to its initial shape, but some of the natural-fiber ones can be saved and re-worn.
To dry your sweaters correctly, roll them in a clean towel to absorb the moisture. After that, carefully unroll them and put them on a lined rack to air-dry.
