4. Ammonia and cornstarch
Ammonia is one of the cheapest window cleaning alternatives of all time, and I know this from my grandma, who taught me every little trick she used to keep the house spotless. This recipe that I took from her is based on three simple ingredients that are easy to find in every person’s kitchen.
Add two quarters of warm water, 1/2 a cup of ammonia, and two tablespoons of cornstarch to a spray bottle and mix it well. After that, spray the windows with a considerable amount of liquid and let it act for a couple of minutes, and then use a soft cloth to dry them. For shinier windows without any stripes, make sure you only wipe in one direction.
