2. Distilled white vinegar
Known as one of the most versatile ingredients that everybody has to have in their kitchen, white vinegar is also a good natural window cleaner. Because most of the vinegar sold in stores contains 5% acidity, and it works just fine with water and a few drops of essential oil, there is no need to buy an expensive one just because it might be better than others. Usually people use apple cider vinegar as a substitute for glass cleaning, but since it contains pectin, which is a form of soluble fiber, it might be a bit difficult to dissolve things like dead bugs or bird poop, so better try to stick to plain distilled white vinegar. For this homemade recipe, you only need two cups of distilled water, 1/2 a cup of white vinegar, a few drops of any kind of essential oil of your choice, or half of a lemon’s juice. Put all the ingredients in a spray bottle and shake it well. This natural cleaner is one of the best methods to clean all the windows in your house in the blink of an eye.
Psst…! For shinier windows, rub them with old newspapers and avoid washing them when the sun is shining. The right time for window cleaning is preferably somewhere around 5 p.m. when the sun is not as powerful as it is during the daytime.
