4. Collect and dispose of all the empty bottles
To make it easier for you to clean up, collect all the empty glasses and bottles lying around by pouring away anything that’s unfinished. Store them away in a bag. You can do the same for any leftovers. Don’t forget to empty the ashtrays if your guests are notorious smokers.
5. Have machine-washable textiles
This is pretty important because if it’s washable, you can easily throw it in the washing machine right after the guests are gone. Machine-washable rugs are also a good choice because they can protect floors from spills. If you can, make sure you cover the furniture in some slipcovers that you can wash after the party is over.
If you find yourself confronting yourself with stains, make sure you try to remove them before sticking them in the washing machine. Some of them are easily washable, but you know, better safe than sorry!
