In the past few years since the pandemic started, antibacterial soaps have probably been the most wanted product. But believe it or not, there’s no actual proof that antibacterial soaps are better at keeping viruses away from our hands than normal soaps. In fact, according to the FDA, most of them are linked to creating antibiotic-resistant bacteria that also have an impact on various medical treatments. So, the next time you’re planning to buy antibacterial soap, remember this and stick to regular ones.
They are also less expensive and most of them include glycerin, which will help your hands stay soft compared to the antibacterial soaps that also contain alcohol, which, if regularly used, can have a bad effect on the skin too.
