#2 Forgetting to Include the Sink on the Cleaning Schedule
No matter if you have a garbage disposal or not, the sink is actually a breeding ground for bacteria and germs, as it is one of the moistest surfaces in your house. Not only that but together with the food particles that get stuck to the drain, if you happen to skip the sink when you do the customary house cleaning, you’re just ignoring a problem. Especially if food or water just sits there for a long period of time.
Make sure you avoid letting all the bacteria roam loose around your kitchen sink by wiping it clean after every use and also do a weekly baking soda and vinegar clean down the drain. It will kill most of the germs. If you have a garbage disposal you should think about using a cleaner on a regular basis to make sure any food that got stuck in there disappears and it doesn’t get clogged.
