7. Carpets or mats
Before entering your house the first thing your shoes full of mud, dirt and bacteria touch, is the front doormat. If you wash yours in the washing machine it’s over, it’s damaged for good.
Look at their tag before to see if it’s allowed to wash it in the first place. In standard washers, heavy carpets or mats can ruin your machine.
Those ones with a rubber on the back are the most dangerous because they can come off and stick to the drums inside which will result in a disaster.
Have them cleaned at a special place or do it yourself by hand.
You should run away from putting these in your machine…..
