The drawers that can be found at one end of the island, hold notepads and pens, but also snacks for the little guests. The drawers from the other side of the island are for baking pans, cookie sheets and cutting boards.
As a personal preference, the owner didn’t want to store those items stored above her refrigerator. “I’m short and didn’t want to get a step stool every time I wanted to get a baking pan” she added.
Fair enough! And because we will always enjoy a good touch of technology, it’s worth mentioning how Strickler added electrical strips tucked under the counter on both ends of the island.
