3. Use a natural moth killer
After you’ve given your wardrobe a deep clean and you’re ready to arrange your clothes back on the shelves, don’t forget to use a natural moth killer. If possible, use a spray that is free of toxic ingredients and one that doesn’t smell terrible. This will definitely help to get rid of any eggs that might be stuck in the closet.
Every time I discover moths inside my home, I use peppermint essential oil combined with 16 oz. of water and I wipe down my shelves with it. If you don’t like its smell, you can always use the alternatives: rosemary, lavender, or thyme. All of them can be easily found on Amazon or at one of your local stores. Each of these natural repellents for moths is safe to use around kids or pets!
