4. Steam with a pot of tea
Although a hot pot or teakettle isn’t nearly as effective as an iron, it can get close. Before drinking your morning tea, boil some water in a medium-sized pot. When the water becomes quite steamy, pour it out. Then, swiftly “iron” the clothing item on a table or another hard surface using the pot’s bottom. Cotton, wool, and linen work well with this technique. but be careful! Don’t put a hot pot near an item that has plastic or polyester in its composition because it could melt, or even worse, if the material is flammable, it could burn.
One more thing: handle the tea kettle carefully!
