6. Leather
Leather, just like hardwood, is pretentious. You can’t use just any cleaning substance on it because you’ll risk damaging it completely. There are special products for it that will allow you to deep clean your leather-made products and furniture.
Wipes, especially the antibacterial kind contain lots of alcohol. And while that may be good to disinfect surfaces, it’s bad for leather.
If you use them repeatedly on leather, then it will give it a dry and chalky look. So, make sure you purchase the right leather products. That way you don’t have to replace your couch after a few months.
