1. Buying low-quality sheets
Bed linen has the power to improve or actually ruin the quality of your sleep. And I bet you haven’t thought about this before. One of the best options are the cotton ones (and they must be 100% cotton), because these sheets let your skin breathe properly, plus they get softer with time.
You can add fabric softener every time you wash them for a better feel. Another advantage is that you can wash them up to 40°C in the washing machine because they are pretty resistant.
If your mattress retains heat, as most do, you must choose cotton bed linen. If the cotton ones aren’t keeping you dry, then you can try the ones blended with Lyocell, the most well-known eco-friendly fiber, which is known for absorbing moisture.
This may sound weird, but it’s actually mandatory to change your sheets weekly!
