While it might seem OK to use disinfectants on every surface in your home, it might be a big mistake. And if you don’t know that particular item is easily damaged by alcohol, you may lose it forever. And marble countertops are one of the best examples I can give you. In addition to permanently etching or swirling your lovely counters, harsh cleaners can harm genuine stone surfaces like granite or marble. Instead, search for sealers made specifically for these surfaces. Alternately, use regular soap and water, which works wonders for general cleaning.
