7.Freeze things in pre-portioned sizes
I know, I know. This may sound demanding, but it’s not. Portioning the meat you are going to cook tomorrow or next week may be useful. Instead of freezing a big chunk of meat, just open the package as soon as you get home and repackage everything into portions that work for you or for your family.
Do you know exactly what you’ll cook next Thursday? If not, then portion out the amount of meat in a sealed bag and write the expiration date on it and what the bag itself contains.
This will make it easy to grab what you need when you need it!
