1. Electronic Devices
It may seem hard to do this, but it’s a vital practice that will guarantee a better night’s sleep. If you want to detach, disconnect, and have a good rest, try to move all the electronic devices, like the TV, gaming console, laptops, and even your smartphone. I know that, at least in the past decade, everybody has been basically glued to their phones in order to be connected all the time with their friends and family from abroad, but you need to set some boundaries.
It’s time to have some healthy habits that will definitely help you feel better in the morning. Why do you want to be emotionally loaded with anger or fear because of some late-night news you’ve read on your phone? Even if you are unable to remove all electronic devices from your bedroom, try to keep only the essentials. And stop using them two or three hours before bedtime because blue light can catch our brains while we’re supposed to be relaxing and letting the melatonin work.
…psst! Don’t forget to mute all the notifications before sleeping if you still want to keep the phone in the room.
