5. Twine Pumpkins
Pumpkins are this season’s stars! And they are tiny and adorable, so they can’t be missed in your Halloween decorations. Whether you choose to carve them or paint them, pumpkins are definitely a must for your dinner table. Last year, my grandkids asked me if they could give them another look that would match the black and white decorations we have, so we tried something new that was done in less than an hour with only a glue gun, a pumpkin, and a long piece of twine.
Start by cutting pieces of your twine long enough to stretch from the stem to the bottom of your pumpkin. Add a bit of glue to the base of the stem to attach the twine. Then wrap the stem with twine, starting with the base. Add small dabs of glue as you continue wrapping the twine around the pumpkin’s base. If you don’t have twine, you can easily use some yarn.
