7. Upholstered Furniture
If you are planning on buying upholstered items, let me tell you: it’s a very bad idea. Why? Because if you have allergies, these things will activate them in the blink of an eye. And you should consider changing all the upholstery in them in order to prevent bed bugs and mold.
Don’t buy furniture that has a nasty smell because it could be mold, dust, or anything else. And you won’t even know what caused the smell because you are not the first owner. And removing all the odors from it may take a long time, plus it will cost you a fortune.
8. Utensils
If you are planning on buying plastic dishware or even plates, drop the idea immediately! They aren’t necessary unless you’re throwing a party and you don’t want to wash a lot of dishes. Silver and stainless steel utensils are safer to use, and you can probably find them at a vintage shop at a good price.
