8. Keep your Christmas tree alive with bleach
This tip is actually amazing because it will keep the holiday spirit around just a bit longer, and this is again with the help of bleach. How cool is this?
I think I heard this once in the past and I immediately thought it would ruin my Christmas tree, but next winter I will try it for sure. You just have to use a solution of two teaspoons of bleach per half a gallon of water (it needs to be hot), plus one cup of corn syrup.
This mixture will stay in your tree stand bowl instead of simple water. Will you try this?
