  • Pet stains – While we love them deeply, our pets might give us a big headache from time to time. This applies to leaving urine stains on your carpet, for example. If you want to get rid of these pet mishaps, try mixing equal parts vinegar and warm water in a spray bottle and soak the stain. Let it sit for ten minutes and then blot the spot. Not only will it remove the stain, but the odor as well!
  • Smudges off walls – While we might be tempted to blame the kids for those annoying smudges, we’re honestly contributing to them more than they are. Luckily, cleaning those smudges is just as simple as making them. All you have to do is mix half a cup of baking soda with a quarter cup of warm water, and mix it into a paste. Then, scoop with a teaspoon and a clean sponge and rub the paste onto the smudge.
  • Crayon drawings from walls – Kids can be a menace, at least when it comes to writing on the walls. Worry no more, as you can clean those scribbles easily. Pick a toothbrush, dip it in white vinegar, and buff away the crayon!
  • Mustard stains – When it comes to ketchup stains, no one’s worried about anything. But if you say mustard, then it’s immediate danger! Mustard stains are difficult to remove, but we have a solution! Mix a half-teaspoon of natural dish soap with warm water.
  • Mud stains – Unfortunately, mud is one of the few messes that get worse in contact with water, so don’t soap up a muddy mess. Instead, let it dry. Then, vacuum the dried mud as much as you can, mix one tablespoon of liquid dish soap with two cups of water. Dip a clean cloth into the mix and sponge the area.
