4. Refresh your refrigerator

Even if it doesn’t look like it, your refrigerator needs to be cleaned as well. And to do that properly, first you have to remove and hand-wash everything that is removable. It’s easy to clean the racks, the shelves, and the drawers in hot water with some dish soap. If there are any stubborn food stains, cover them with a wet cloth for a couple of minutes to soak them and then try and clean them with a soft scrubber.

If there are some shelves that are not removable, then baking soda is your friend in need.

Make a mixture of one part baking soda and several parts water. Once you’ve rinsed all the surfaces, deodorize your refrigerator by just filling an open container with dry baking soda and leaving it there on the bottom shelf.
