1. Use dishwasher-cleaning tablets
I’ve found out that the best way to clean a dishwasher is while running. If you do so you won’t need to spend your time cleaning it by hand every week. I use these dishwasher-cleaning tablets, which do a pretty good job, but I guess you can find many similar brands out there.
These tablets can be added either to the dispenser or the bottom of the dishwasher, and you’ll be surprised how well they dissolve both grease and limescale! Oh, and they leave a nice lemon scent behind!
2. Bye-bye, dirty tile grout!
Tiles are hard to keep clean because the bathroom and kitchen have a lot of moisture and natural oils, making soap scum buildup worse. I won’t deny it—cleaning tile grout is something that takes a lot of effort but has a huge payoff.
But there’s a way to do it that doesn’t include you spending one hour on your hands and knees. I discovered this two years ago, and I’m still in awe of this amazing device. It’s basically an electric scrub brush that comes with a long handle, which means you won’t have to bend and kneel down to clean caked-on dirt and grime between tiles. This is going to save you so much effort and time!
