7. Book side table
Do you have a lot of encyclopedias that you have overread and now you can put them aside? That’s amazing because we have an idea! To assemble, cut trim to form a box frame that fits snugly around one book, nail it to the tabletop’s underside, and then paint the top. Then make a hole through each book’s center.
In the end, glue the dowel to the center of the table’s underside. Stack the books, lining up the holes and twisting them in order to make them look like spiral staircases.
You can use this tiny table for your newspaper or for another book you regularly read.
8. Paint the ceiling
This is going to be one of the biggest transformations for your living room. Or your bedroom. It depends on your choices. Paint your ceiling in a much darker tone than your walls. Adding color to the ceiling will make the room more dramatic, cozy, and modern. It’s easy to achieve too.
