#8 Dust
Believe it or not, you cannot effectively get rid of dust when it comes to using a paper towel for the job. Not only is it just going to move it from one spot to another, but the air in your room will become a dust cloud in no time! Paper is not cut out to be able to gather dust well, especially when it has been piling up for some time, even if it’s the closest item to you when you’re starting to tidy the shelves.
You should rely on the products that are actually going to get the job done, be it a cloth, a mitt, or any formal duster you may have purchased over the years. They are going to properly collect and trap the dust, while leaving your surfaces squeaky clean!
Some of them are specially designed to catch any smaller allergens that may be in the dust, and if they have an extender, you will also be able to reach spaces more easily and without the hazard of potentially falling down!
