Looking for a way to modernize a pink-walled living space? Consider adding a touch of 2023’s “it” color: lavender. According to Collective Works partner Siri Zanelli, you can easily achieve a Victorian vibe for your living room by combining cool and warm hues, such as pastel pink and brown umber.
“This combination makes a north-facing living room warm, while the cool-toned details create enough complexity to make the interior exciting,” explained Siri. She also pointed out that mixing warm and cool tones in the same room requires some skills and needs to be harmonized with the rest of the material palette.
