The designer will work on the space that you are going to live in for a long time and it would be beneficial for the process to have a good relationship with them, since it can also take some time for the project to be done.
They will have to learn about your personality in order to make the right decisions regarding your home and what will suit you best. Make sure the person that you hire is trustworthy, that you can fully rely on them and that you can easily communicate with them.
